Most of our work is carried out in the North Island, but we will undertake projects anywhere in the country – for example, we have recently completed Stage One of the Lyttleton port.
CIVIL CONTRACTING, ROADING AND MAJOR SUBDIVISIONS
Civil project clients require that we provide the most up to date services – consequently all vehicles operating in this area, such as excavators and dozers, are equipped with GPS Topcon positioning units. It obviously cuts down on surveying time through to production and completion of the whole contract. We will tender for jobs in our own right or with other companies to achieve the best result for the client.
QUARRYING AND MINING, OVERBURDEN REMOVAL
Our long-established reputation of excellence in quarrying and mining operations means you can expect the very best. We deploy the right machines to the right application, to ensure work is completed in a time efficient and cost-effective manner.
Whether you require bulk stripping or delicate land rehabilitation, C & R deliver leading results. We own a wide selection of equipment designed to effectively strip and shift every type of material, from vegetation to rock. We offer the option of GPS equipped excavators and dozers to manage rock extraction or overburden removal with maximum accuracy. For a more comprehensive approach, we provide both A & B Grade quarry management.
Some of our additional services also include: construction of access roads or stock yards, haul road design and management, and slip remediation
TRANSPORTER SERVICES
Our in-house heavy haulage transportation department are available for hire.
Our fleet consists of three Kenworth prime movers and three transportation trailers ranging from 10-96 tonne. With our new, state-of-the-art, fully articulated trailer, we are able shift heavy machinery through difficult roads and terrain like never before.
